New Mobile Game Unleashes Angry Employees on Boss from Hell

Mutinous employees pursue the world’s worst boss in a new mobile device video game that hit the iTunes store last week. So who is this boss from hell? In Office Riot from the Dreamkind it’s you. Good luck on getting out alive.

In this cubicle farm revenge fantasy, your character is the despised tyrant Xavier Potts, the CEO of X-Ploit Industries. You’re a world-class jerk, cheap, nasty and addicted to PowerPoint.  Employee anger reaches a tipping point when you send one-too-many of your notoriously abusive memos and the hired help begins tearing the office apart.

You must ride your office chair to safety, jumping over holes, copying machines and furious employees while dodging flying staplers, laptops and killer rabbits. Think Angry Birds with attitude.

Office Riot features 10 different environments. The game play starts in the office and progresses through a factory, a farm, outer space, the arctic, and other locations. Each level features a new set of flying objects to dodge and obstacles to jump over.

The game for the iPhone costs 99 cents in the iTunes store while the iPad version sells for $2.99. There is also a free “Lite” version for download that features only three environments and a more limited menu of game options.

“We see Office Riot as a perfect stress-reliever after a long day at work,” says Jay Schiffman, president of Dreamkind. “In fact, it’s the perfect stress-reliever for a short day of work, or no work, or better yet, while at work.”

The company plans on releasing three additional mobile games over the next months: Frankenstein Matchmaker, Major League Baseball and an updated version of a previous release, Sproutster.
